My name is Lotta, and I want to share the story of how the 'Obscuro' deck was born. My journey into the world of tarot began not so long ago, but it has already dramatically changed my life. I believe that some things come into existence exactly when they are meant to. My work on 'Obscuro' is a deep dive into the world of intuition, light, and shadow. Each card was born from profound meditative reflections on symbols that connect the past and the future, creating a bridge between times and dimensions. I utilized a mix of digital illustration and analog graphics, combining the technique of cyanotype hand printing with coloring the images using various herbs. Thus, each card of 'Obscuro' becomes a unique work of art, filled with deep meaning and magic.

Creating 'Obscuro' for me is not just the process of making a tarot deck. It's my spiritual journey, a path to self-discovery, and exploration of the invisible threads that connect us to the universe. The Artist's Journey from Shadows to Light

Born in the mystical city of St. Petersburg and currently living in Buenos Aires, I have always sought inspiration in the mysterious and unexplored. My years have been dedicated to delving into mysticism, symbolism, poetry, and psychoanalysis. These passions have not only enriched my perception of the inner world but also manifested in the art of tarot creation.

In the 'Obscuro' deck, my works represent a synthesis of these pursuits. They reflect a deep understanding of symbols and archetypes, embodying my meditations on the soul and the subconscious. Each card serves as a unique bridge between the tangible and the subconscious, the visible and the hidden.

Art for me is an opportunity to create worlds that are initially only seen by the artist. Through my tarot cards, I share these realms, giving them physical form and inviting others to join this journey through symbols and imagery. Currently, I am working on a second deck named 'Claro'. This deck will be a stark contrast to 'Obscuro', filled with brightness, light, and radiance. It represents a new phase in my artistic journey, where light triumphs over darkness, and vibrant colors replace the monochrome palette.
